Organic Lawn Care Accreditation
Press Release: March 9, 2008

Matthew Carroll of Jessica's Garden in Marlborough has earned the accreditation of the Northeast organic farming association (NOFA) as an Organic land care professional. This 30-hour course for professionals provides the education needed for an understanding of organic land care design and maintenance. The curriculum is based on NOFA’s Standards for Organic Land Care. These Standards, published in 2001 and revised annually, extend the vision of organic agriculture to the care of the entire landscape, both private and public.

Matthew commented; "My wife Jessica and I have made a commitment to providing the information and products to successfully "go green" with your home landscape and lawn. Homeowners need to understand that organic lawn care doesn't mean simply switching to an organic fertilizer, It's all about the soil and the life within the soil."
Matthew can be found most days at Jessica's Garden and is happy to field any questions you have about maintaining a safe landscape for your family.
